Why does my cat sleep with me and not my husband?
How social cats behave varies between individuals and different breeds. Some cats hate when you pick them up, while others will climb on top of your shoulder and nap there. But regardless of how social your cat is, it will express love and affection for you in some way.
A common way for many cats to express their trust and love for their owners is to share the bed with them at night. Not only is it infinitely adorable, but it might also be the ultimate way of expressing themselves: cats are the most vulnerable when they sleep, and there is no one they would rather seek shelter with than you.

Why does my cat sleep with me and not my husband – The chosen person will love it but the neglected part will feel rejeted.
The truth is that many cats tend to choose one human as their favourite human. Regardless of how much time and effort two people put into a cat, one person will be the cat's preferable, which is nothing personal to the other person and has to do with the cats' generally habitual personality. Once they have slept with one of their owners, it simply becomes a habit for them. And if one person is already the preferred 'go-to', then naturally, it will go there to sleep too.
